How often does the location update?
The driver app shares location while a load is in transit. Ask our team about the details for your use case.
Do I need to install anything?
Shippers and carriers use the web platform. Drivers run their delivery steps in the Winixx Freight app on iOS and Android.
What proof of delivery do I get?
Every delivery is confirmed by the driver's location at the drop-off, the receiver's one-time delivery code, and a live photo. Receiver details, notes, and a signature are captured too, and a downloadable delivery receipt is available any time after delivery.
Who creates the delivery code?
The shipper generates it from their dashboard when the shipment is created. The receiver gives it to the driver, and the driver enters it in the app to complete the delivery.
What if a delivery cannot be completed?
Exceptions such as an unreachable receiver, a rescheduled attempt, or a return are recorded on the same status trail, so there is one record of what happened.
Can receivers follow their delivery?
For local deliveries, receivers get tracking links and delivery notifications.
Is carrier contact information shared?
Personal contact details of carriers are not shown to shippers. Location is tied to the shipment and shared during transit.
